Default 1999 Dodge Ram Parts Manual

I am looking for a good parts manual for a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 5.9. I tried ordering from one site on ebay and am having problems downloading as it is encrpted. I have contacted paypal to help with the dispute but am still working through the process. I sold my son the truck a few months ago and on his way back from Ft. Knox he was having AC issues which was fixed by replacing a vacuum valve. I checked out the truck further and noticed a red and black (I believe to be a vacuum line or pressure release line) linecoming from the top of the tranny which was snapped from being dryrotted. I would like to get a parts manual in order to check the price on the internet which is probably cheaper than going to the dealer or parts store. Thanks ahead of time for your help.

Well im not sure if this is what you're asking for but it's the factory service manual that the dealer uses, we got a good connection with this website and we get spoiled sometimes.

the vacuum switch on top of the t-case is the 4wd cad control. the red and black lines go to the cad and are frequently damaged. another line goes to the engine. the 4th line is a vent.

i've lost all my links, but do a seach on CAD for a link to dodgeinfo.org? which has a complete troubleshooting guide.

Thanks for all the help. Unfortunately manuals didn't give an explanation of the problem but I did a search of the CAD cam contoller and it pointed me in the right direction. I went to the dealer and had them print out a copy of the Vacuum lines and part numbers. I'm going to do a search to see if I can find the part cheaper but it may be a dealer only part. I scanned the docs, hopefully I can post if not I will be asking for help to post the docs so it may help others. Thanks again.

Default 4WD Cad Controller

I tried downloading the pics earlier but they were too large so had to resize.
Went to the dealer and ordered two lines. I only needed 1 but the jumper was only $6 and figured it was a good idea to replace it also since the main vacuum line had already dry rotted. Thanks again.

You can do this next time.
http://dodgeparts.mopar.com/dodge/oem-dodge-parts.html
They have the same picture as in you're post but no prices.
But if you go up to other items they have prices and P/N's.
IIRC It's still a fairly new site and most things have not been uploaded yet.
At least you can print the pic and write down where it was in the contents list
like,
front suspension and drive
front axle disconnect
vacuum lines front axle and transmission.

i wouldn't own a Ram without owning a Haynes repair manual.
i know both advance and autozone carry them.
