Default Buying a new radiator.

I am looking at getting this one, but it says it is for a diesel, are the dimensions and hoses the same on a 5.9 gas?

There are also ones that have hookups for trans coolers if I don't have one will I run into problems? I want at least a dual core radiator.

I don't think the 5.9 gas & 5.9 diesel are the same rad. The gas rad has a smaller hose diameter and it is a 1 row (I believe). I'm sure you can mod it to fit.

For $200 shipped I may see if I can get it to work, it is about 4 inches longer and the non diesel has 1.25 hoses, if I can find reducers for rad hoses I may try it out. the only other multi-core Radiators are $600+ on this site. I do a lot of driving int he high desert area around here so I want something that will cool real well.

Old Dodge, those are some crazy good prices, I may order from there, if shipping ain't to bad.

It can't be that hard to find reducers for the rad.

Main thing I worry about with that one is the width of it.

True, but you can always either tap new threads to the frame or weld some nuts on. Just a thought.

Lmc truck has 2 row rads for the gas engines, I believe. I would personally not want to mess with the diesel rad.

I know most of our trucks come with one row rads but getting a 2 row radiator, wouldn't it keep the engine really cool?
