Im trying to find the length of the dipstick for a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L i look on ebay and alls i can fin is that chrome after market that is 21inch long. I was just wondering if anyone could give me a length. Thanks.

edit: mine's 34 7/8" from the tip to where the handle meets the stick, 36" if you count the part of the handle past the O rings, right to where it hits the dipstick tube

Why not get one from the dealer? I just bought a dipstick for my 5.2 a couple days ago. $13.30. Like you I couldn't find anything but the universal ones online.
