Dual steering stabilizer installed!
Oh yea, finally got my Rough country dual steering stabilizers in today from Topguncustomz and they've already been painted and installed. Topguncustomz is pretty quick on getting your order out but ups screwed up and delayed my shipment a few days but who cares, I got my stuff finally. The instructions were ok, install was fun, but removing my old stabilizer was a pita! It was already replaced once by one of the previous owners, they went with a pro comp es 2000 and it's seen better days. The 2 U bolts holding the bracket were monster torqued on and rusted all to hell. but once broke 1 on each loose, they came off pretty easy, just took awhile. Took her for a spin down the highway and back after I was done and I love those things. Steering stiffened up a bit, which is nice, and I don't have to work to keep her straight anymore when going through heavy winds or over uneven roads, bumps. and what not. For those of you that are thinking about going to duals, it's nice, I'd recommend'em.
Oh, I'll post pic's when I can actually pull them off my camera, don't have a cable or multi card reader.

Ok so I found my light cannon (2 million candle power) and to my surprise, it was stilled charged after not being used for 2 years, that a really long time holding enough power to be able to turn on. But anyway, I went out and snapped a couple pictures with my cell. And yes, I know I got some rust, the big bar across the top is actually my brush guard which will be removed when I get my new bumper.

I noticed some good difference going form single to dual. First off, it's really windy here right now, like retardedly strong winds have been blowing through all day. Well normally I'm always have to straighten out because I'm getting bashed left and right by the winds, well not anymore. I mean yea a really good strong gust knocks me but its not near as bad as it use to. Second, my steering stiffened up a little bit, not much, I still have some play but it's more responsive then it was before. Not sure if that's a normal thing people notice or if it's just me because my old stabilizer was a little worn, rusted, and dented all to hell. Oh and third, I don't jolt around near as much going over pot holes or sections of roads that were repaired by a 2 year old. There's one lane I usually drive in going to work that shakes me around pretty good but I went over it today and except for the bump going in and out I didn't really shake around that much.
It's a worth it upgrade to me. Just gotta make sure the kit works with your truck because like the kit I have will not work with a 00-01 without a 3 inch lift but it works with 94-99 perfectly.
