Heater Core Removal DIY?
Hello fellow Dodge problem solvers! So I am sure that my heater core needs replaced, I have done enough research to make that diagnosis based on the information on this forum. My heater smells like antifreeze and it just recently started steaming out of the dash heater vents. It also fogs up my windshiled with a sticky green tint. I obviously need to replace the dreaded heater core
Several users have stated that there are detailed DYI instructions here to remove it, but I can not find them for the life of me. My truck is a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport Quad Cab, 318 engine. Can someone please direct me to where I can find this info. I have the Haynes manual but just want some extra input. I appreciate all your help. Thanks.

Update. Due to time constraints with work and being a full time student in the middle of finals, I am simply going to bybass the intake/outake hoses for now. I will attack the replacement probably next week. I don't see what all the fuss is about with replacing a heater core. Most say that it is a serious pain in the *** and plan on 8 hours for the job, but I have read others that say it isn't bad and can be done in much less time. I will keep this post updated with how my experience turns out. As far as the dash goes, mine is already cracked from just sitting. I'm pretty sure every 2nd generation dash that came off the production line has a cracked dash. I hope my temper doesn't flair or I may end up with no dash at all! lol
