carquest has crap gaskets too (victor).

 

that's why i typically only go to carquest for suspension stuff they typically stock that and they're fairly decent quality loved the gas filled shocks they sold me for my old truck but they're higher than hell on parts. should've gone there for my axle seal though. I would've prefered a national seal as opposed to the SKE or whatever napa sells.

 

Wish I could say the same thing about Autozone prices here. I have found that on some items Autozone wants 2X the price of the same exact part by the same manufacturer than Advance does. Napa is also cheaper on some parts.

I went to Napa last week to get a part. When I walked up to the counter and told them what I needed the guy told me it might be a dealer only item. When I informed him that it was listed on their web page he said lets have a look. That was alot better response than one I got from Advance a few weeks ago for a different part that I complained about earlier in this thread.

 

I have been going to at least 3 different autozones for a couple of years and Id say ive gotten some of the best customer service and the parts have been alright. O'reillys is the worst place ive gone, advanced is alright, NAPA is to expensive here.
