Modification of the Month Poll
I'm digging the on board air too.
After this runs for a while and we get enough mods then There should be a thread added to the DIY section that has each one shown in detail in that thread, and periodically updated as the new polls are finished.

yea that definatly makes sense, really wasnt sure what i was getting myself into, but i think after this first month we'll get the hang of it, i think we have 4 seconded mods, front hitch, painted dash bezel, on board air, and wheels and tires. im gonna throw in the steering also, we can have 5
since the mod someone nominated me for isnt up here ill add some pics
not much on my end, just $950 for the tires from a local dealer (firestone dueler M/T 305/70R16) and $200 for the wheel on CL (american racing outlaw II 16x8)

The poll got started, so here are more pictures:
The last time I got stuck I bent up the cross member under the radiator and the bottom bar on my brush guard since I had to hook to the frame and that got me thinking that I need a front recovery point that isn't under the truck (I had to dig to get the chain down there). So I came up with this.
I got a hitch out of a junk yard and chopped both ends off since I was planning on mounting it flush.
The top plate on the hitch made it have a gap on both sides where it meets the frame of the truck, so I welded a 1/8" plate from the center support all the way to each end of the hitch so it would have a flat surface where it would attach to the frame.
Then I lined it up and got to welding.
Welding above your head while on your side isn't pleasant by the way.

The bonus to having a front recovery point is that after I bend the bottom bar on the brush guard down a little, I will be able to slip my skeet launcher in that hitch.
I just think this one looks cool
