Default Vapor Canister large vacuum line, goes where?

I have found this large open vacuum line underneath the brake booster. It's not pulling any vacuum, but it leads back to the vapor canister.

I have also have a capped off port on the intake mani, under the brake booster line.

Should this be connected to the intake manifold to pull vacuum from?

well I think that open hose should connect to manifold vacuum, and I there's a diagram in the emissions section which also displays that ..... BUTTTTT..... the vacuum diagram on my truck doesn't show that connection. I dunno.

Mine has the capped fitting on the manifold too, I think it's just for something optional... And would that open line maybe be a vent hose or something? I know it doesn't go on that fitting. Not sure if mine has that, I'll check tomorrow

Well I had a look at mine today and got some pics.... That big hose is indeed a vent for the canister, on mine it's got the vent cap on the end, and comes up on the passenger side wheelwell right beside the vent line for the CAD

NP dude, I was out tinkerin yesterday and thought I'd get some pics of these things people have been asking about...

Is your canister on the drivers side too? Mine is on the passenger side, right about under the rear door or so... I just always assumed that the big vent hose was for the tranny or transfer case, I've never followed it all the way back before... So I learned somethin anyway

Well the pictures you posted were from something on the passenger side, and my vent hose comes from the drivers side and goes to a canister. I want to know if your driver side hose goes anywhere?
