Default Fuel gauge started working again.

Hey guys just wanted to let you know " the ones who dont have a working fuel gauge " The reason why our fuel gauges stop working is because the fuel pressure regulator's hose will vibrate loose off inside the tank causing the gauge to stop working.

Mine has been goin in an out since i swaped my fuel pump " before i swaped the pump it didnt work at all " and i found the reason i had a pin hole leak in the fuel pressure rubber hose ontop of the tank, i cut the section out and hooked it back up and boom my gauge works now.

BUT that's my simple problem, but that wont work for most of you guys, this is just to answer your question from along time ago 95RAM360 when you asked me if the swaped pump fixed my gauge.

Which connectors ? if you're talking about the hard plastic one all i used was a flathead screw driver on one side and kinda pulled out on it a tiny bit so it wouldnt snap back into place then did the other side, When you goto take it off make sure you take the gas cap off to release the pressure in the tank otherwise it will be a pain in the *** to get the suction off that hard plastic hose and it wont want to come loose.

Put some *** behind it man! the wires are just a simple snap on, Pull up on the clip then pull the wires out, the rubber hose just pulls right off with a little force, the biggest pain in the *** was the hard plastic one.

You can do it!!!
