I am buying a lift kit for my 2001 dodge 2500. its a 4x4 with a 5.9L V8 gas engine. i need to know if my truck has factory overloads or not. Or how i can tell if it does. and also what factory overloads are.. thanks.

 

What does the sticker inside the drivers door say for GVWR?

Go Here. And email chrysler, and request a build sheet for your truck. Make sure you put "Request a build sheet" in the 'brief description' line of the form. I am not entirely sure what they are referring to.... the 11000 lb gvw trucks got auxiliary springs on top of the rear spring pack, not sure if that is what they mean?
