He just posted some thing like an hour ago, and from what I can tell he didn't post anything bad unless it got deleted.

So does anyone know why Yakkier got banned with in the last hour or two???


Is it some thing to do with the OTM?

 

Second time that I know of. He's really a cool guy and lives close to me. I don't think that he's done anything offensive.

lol It was random in my eyes. I was just reading my last post and he posted on it, and he wasn't banned. Then the next post I read he was banned. I did a search of his last few posts and couldn't find anything.

 

They should make a sticky, or a thread with a list of banned members and a reason why they were banned, that way we can all refer to it and go, "Oh.. thats why! Silly person that got banned", so we don't make new threads asking. lol Oh well, it is what it is, hopefully its not a full ban and only a temp, I like him.

 

This is not a warning or anything like that, just a FYI... if you guys ever want an explanation of why someone is banned, or at least as much of an explanation as we can possibly give you (sometimes we can't say much due to private conversations and behind-the-scenes stuff), PM me or Silver. Don't make open forum threads.

This is what I am allowed to say about this incident: Yakkier was on thin ice. He was banned once before for 7 days as a warning after he ignored PMed warnings about past issues, which we will not go into here. Despite his creation of a 2nd account to get around the temporary ban, which was grounds for a permanent ban by itself, the staff ignored it and let him return. Despite all the opportunities we have allotted him, more than his fair share, he again violated a forum rule recently. The staff declared this a last straw, and so the decision was reached to ban him permanently.

 

Yeah, I awoke this morning and checked the forum and found that he had been banned sometime after I went to bed. Shame, I thought he was gonna clean his act up after I gave him a week off. But I've read the reason and coupled with his past actions, I'd say it's more than justified.
