need help pulling trouble codes

so the key dance dosnt work for me.. any way to do it by jumping terminals on the obdII plug? cant find it any were and the search function isnt working for me today...

go to autozone and have them scan it for free....key dance is usually for OBD1, although ive heard of it working with new ODB2

I know there's people on here with 97's that can successfully do the key dance... I think it's kinda hit or miss for that working for people... Don't think shorting pins will work with obd2

well their was a sit for obdII you short to pins 4 and 9 but didnt work for me.. and i did it once were i pulled codes that way..... just cant find it in a search on here cause it wont work.
