Your wires don't match the standard color code. You'll have to get a test light and figure out what each wire does then wire the plug by function.

But its factory? Test light it is. I'll have to pick one up.

If it's factory then dodge didn't go by the standard color code. The "standard" code isn't all that standard anyway, so it's best to function in any case. I remember when i changed out the male plug on my trailer, went by the colors and had the brakes coming on with the right turn signal.

Well that really tells a tail dont it. I know it has factory tow package because the bulid shhet said so and I have the hook up for the break control.

If the old connector hasn't been cut off the truck already can't you just hook up the new plug one wire at a time making sure to reconnect each wire to the corresponding pin on the other plug as you cut them? ie cut wire to pin one on truck reconnect to pin one on the new plug, move onto next wire etc etc until done? Just be sure every wire goes to the same plce on the new plug it went on the old plug and you'll be golden assuming the first plug is wire correctly.

I'm in need of the color code for the wires in the tail lights to hook up my trailer lights

Google the Universal 7 way color code. Even the factory wiring harnesses for the trailer had those colors AT the 7 way plug.
