will this combo work? HID/Halo
on my truck i put theses head lights in

on the Inside it says HID bulb with a cross through it (dont use HID bulb) but is it because it would be too bright or because it would melt the housing? its an H4 Bulb, anyone put HIDs in these headlights? does it work?

You can, but you would need to get a conversion kit. They will not melt the housing and are perfectly safe. Projector headlights and HID's are different. I think it would look really good if you did put HID's in there. You can find a kit that will work for about $100....
