Yea same here but I was thinking of going with the Bilsteins. We have these huge speed bumps going in and out of base here and if I go over them faster then 10 mph, I bottom out the front every time and it's really annoying. Just waiting for more money to roll in before I lift it.

I just read in Four Wheeler or one of those other mags a review for the 5100s. They had nothing bad to say about them.

Thats why i bought them........ mono tube, longer lasting, good rep, better than any twin tube design, never read or heard anything bad, that was the reason behind the purchase of them besides all the other shock's...trust me i dont want to bad mouth bilstein and gotta get everything in line,( tire pressure, control arms bushings, and end links) and i would prob be more impressed than what i am now, lol, the braking is better so far...........gotta tell it how it is regardles...

I have heard of this but never tired but flip your rears around. Should not be so rough but might be too soft at the same time. cant hurt to try if your not happy.

Got any pics of those shocks installed? I was looking at them on topguncostumz and noticed that it's mounts are both eyelets and that you need a eye to stem conversion kit to install them on our trucks. I'm just wondering what the kit looks like cause I'm going to go ahead and buy a set when I lift my truck.

Another question, noticed you can by them by the amount of travel you want and not what size lift they will fit like all other shocks. Just wondering, since they go from 6.5-14" of travel, will any of these fit a stock truck and still be good after 3 inches of lift? I ask because I'd really like to replace my shocks asap but if they can't be sued for both applications then I'll just wait until I can afford a lift.

i didnt have any problems or need any adapters or fittings when i installed mine, they went in just like the stock ones. i cant remember exactly where i ordered mine from now that was two years ago.

as far as travel and such i ordered mine for the amount of lift, which actually was just levelling out so i went with a 3" in lift. not sure how they would ride with stock.

try looking around else where maybe shockwarehouse.com and you can get the ones that are made for a dodge instead of universal.

I didnt have to get adapters, they are stock mounts, i gave them my extended and collapsed lengths and they matched em pretty darn close, rears 26.xxx extended 15.xxx collapsed, front 24.xxx Ext 14.xxx Collapsed < these were the old shocks numbers they matched em to).. the ones they sent me F4 BE5 6681 H8 ,and F4 BE5 6682 H8, i'll try to get installed pics later today... got em from summit also, they dont list extended and collapswed lengths, so i called 1-858-386-5900 ask for shane ext 5908 i think , he's in the offroad tech department very helpful, and tell em what you got or what you want to do and he'll hook you up...
