no power bad gas milage

O'rielys and auto zone both carry them, my set cost me $20.

Also I am told the the hughes kit comes with it.

i got on fel pros web site and looked up the gasket, call them back with the part # and they carry it, it was the same gasket kit they looked up for me, they just didnt know the plate gasket was in with it. whats bad is i asked the first time i call and he said no. they priced it for $27.09 at advance auto

do not get just the gasket. it will bow again and you will ahve the same problem
the prblem is the plate is steel, the intake is aluminum, the expand at different rates. also the bolts for the plate cause a problem, not sure if its to long or to short. do some searching probably 1000 posts on it. anyway order a new plenum plate, comes with new bolts, gaskets and instructions from hughes.

you need those bolts because the intake bolts are torque to yeild (Means that they can never be used again when taken out or you will strip the intake).

Oh yeah, it is will downshift on every hill on the highway. Actually, the manual states to TAKE THE TRUCK OUT OF OVERDRIVE when going up a hill.

If you plan on keeping the Truck for a while go ahead and get a Hughes Plate.

13-15 is average for a 4x4 when the truck is in good condition.

What size are your tires?

i had the same problem, do cap, rotor, plugs, plug wires and O2 sensor andf you will be golden
