ac clutch operation
2001 ram 1500 360 4x4
I was pretty sure the clutch on the ac should engage and disengage periodically,
this weekend i noticed it seems to stay engaged all the time, if i turn the system to 'off' it disengages. Its getting hot, and i do not want to tear up my compressor,as it only 2 yrs old! It blows cold air, as cold as it ever has.
What controls the clutch engagement and disengagement while in operation.
