I'm planning on getting a 14X3 too, I think you're supposed to install a throttle body spacer to clear everything. I'm not sure where to get it though, anybody have a link to a spacer that works?

You won't need a spacer if you use one that has 3/8" deeper flange.
One like an Edelbrock 1221.http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EDL-1221
I am sure there are others out there but that is the one I have.

Search at summit for spacers: http://www.summitracing.com/search/?...20spacer&dds=1

Go to Advance or Autozone, and in the section of the round air cleaners, there should be a Mr. Gasket assortment of plastic spacers. There is like 4 or 5 of them in one pack, and it's like 8 buccs.

The Mr. Gasket 1480 fits without having to put a spacer under it.

yep the 14x3 is fine just get the pack of spacers, you would be happier with the 14x3 over the 10x3 so go back and switch again
