How often should you do a full tune up?

30K miles? Or, when your gas mileage starts to suffer, or the truck doesn't run as well as you would like.

Should I change the coil as a part of the tune up?

No, not really. Generally I only change coils if I am going to a higher performing unit, or, if the current coil is failing.
