What exhaust sounds the best on a 96 ram with the 5.2 and which one will give you the best gains ?

 

I like the way my flowmaster 40 sounds.Not to over the top loud and nice little rumble.Sound doesnt irritate in the cab.Not sure about gains.

No I dont but you can find clips all over youtube in which owners have posted.Might help you make your decision.

 

Yeah there is a lot of sound clips on you tube. You can do just a search of the motor as dodge put the motor in a lot of their auto's.

Its completely personal preference. Like Kaldir said, search Youtube, found the one you like, and copy them.

 

I kinda like mine its very loud with a nice rumble, I have noticed some decent power gains, purple hornies!! Laugh at the name....but its ok! I have idling sound clips on youtube...only ram with them on it too

 

I have a single in double out Flowmaster Super 44 series muffler. The pipes are cut and dumped right before the rear axle. It has a good rumble while idling and the best sound comes out at around 3K rpms. I would recommend going true dual if you want to put up the cash for another C/C. It still sounds badass.
