cheapest place i've found was 15 bucks a tire at a small shop, and Les Schaub wanted almost 25 bucks a tire. Even a good friend who works at Big O Tire wanted to charge me 100 bucks best he could do.. i wish it was 10 bucks a tire....I'd pay that.

I balance my own using a bubble balancer. Some say its not as good as high speed spin balancing, but I never have any balance issues. Tires wear fine and no real wheel shake. I haven't paid to have a tire mounted or balanced in several years. But if you do find a Walmart with a tire and lube. Their prices are dirt cheap.

i change my tires on my own i used a thing with like a chiesel tip on the end and a slideing hammer to brake the bead and then 2 big spoons (big ****ing screwdrivers) to get the tire on and off. but i have never lit the tire to put a bead back on i always used an air compress to pop it back on.

No you don't, you can do that at home too. I grew up on a farm, and we did all our own tires. Broke them off the rims, put new tires on, and balanced them all in our garage. We had this little device that you set the tire/wheel on. It had a little bubble and a circle. You would add weights just like the tires places do until you got the bubble centered in the circle, then it was balanced. We never had any problems with out of balance tires using this method. I wish I still had it for times when I start to feel a vibration. Free and easy way to see if it is your tire or not.

I just got done seating the beads, i had no probs whatsoever, just used my blow gun with the valve stem removed, also some people add the airsoft pellets in the valve stem, that's what they do with the bigger tires that have a hard time balancing, (not sure on how many or a ratio) i'm gonna let em sit over night to see if i lose any air, then i will put them on, and take some pics.....

I can get tires mounted and balanced at a local place for $10 a tire, thats taking off the old tire and putting the new one on with a new valve stem and balancing it.
Or $30 to put tires on just rims with vale stems and balancing

But I just give them to my neighbor and he takes them to work and does it for free, and everyonce in awhile I throw him a bottle of rum
