Tire changing without a machine vid(not mine)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPVfn2NjirY Did'nt know where to post this, but I stumpled upon this vid , looking for tips to change my tires over to my rims, without taking them to the shop, It's not my vid but figured some people like me that can't afford to pay for it to be done might benefit from this..
I mount all my own tires with a manual tire changer I bought at Tractor Supply for something like $40 a few years ago. I also got a couple tire bars if I don't feel like using the machine.
I wouldn't suggest anyone try to change those skinny low profile tires with either a manual machine or that guys method of screwdrivers. It doesn't work well. But for most of us on our truck tires it will work just fine.

Here are the results of me doing the install the same as in this video.

I would say after doing two tires, you gotta use lots of soap and water... LOTS! My first one was hard, and the second one was easy.

I did the "Brave Chicken" method. Took me a few tries to get enough ether into the tire, but I got it dialed in and I gotta say...
Cheap is good, free is better!!!!

The guy in the first vid makes it look way to easy lol. He has definately done it a time or two lol... The video above mine, what spray did you use? I tried that before after watching a trail rig video doing that in the middle of the trail. They said it was WD40 (it wasn't) and... yeah then I grabbed some 2+2 carb cleaner and did that. Ended up catching the tire on fire lmao. Good times...
Yeah makes it look way to easy, i only got one side of the tire on and not the front half, took about 15 min to just do that, and i soaked everything down with soap and water..it kicked my *** for the night, lol
i watched the vid again and went out and did all the rest in about 20 mins, it's really easy after you get the hang of it. just running these tire thru the summer to save on my muds...oh yeah got the tires for 20 bucks. i'll air em up in the morning

I wouldnt think dropping em off at a shop to just balance them would be to spendy, i know they make DIY stuff for balancing, or the airsoft pellet trick would get me by ,IMO,. well saved me 100 bucks anyways easy....
100bucks?!?!?!?!?!??! where are you getting your crap mounted and balanced?
theres a few places around here to go...(mount and balance w/vehicle being driven into the shop)
1 is 13.00 a tire
1 is 10.00 a tire
