i was in the RMV and there was an old women taking the eye exam...and she kept saying "i cant see the lights" (when checking perrefrial vision) then the RMV person said, "ok, come and take your photo now"....she got her liscence renewed i guess...even though she failed the eye exam....

also i almost took out a car as well with my truck yesterday....i was going down the street, and an old person put on there left blinker, but turned right.....i was going to go around, thank god i didnt gun it, if i did, i would have had a bad accident...

Someone was telling me a few weeks ago that in NC, if you put on your left blinker and slow down to turn then the vehicle behind you goes to pass you while you're turning (in a passing zone) and t-bones you that it is your fault.

Anyone heard of a law like that?

That would make perfect sense to me. Although, just because it makes sense, doesn't necessarily imply that it is indeed the case.

Not really, they'd be passing you on the left while you're trying to turn left...

Sadly, she did not have insurance, and the damage to my truck is not even worth the time it would take to squeeze what little money I could out of her worthless ***. But knowing that her car needs professional work where as my truck only needs a **** can of paint and a head light makes me sleep like a baby at night.
