Thanks again Gord. I dont want to take any chances so I will just stop by the dealership and ask for the Mopar 75W-90. Even at the higher price point its not worth the risk of going to something else.

The proper fluid for the NV3500 is not the 75-90, its closer to a 5-30 but make sure the bottle says its for the NV3500. If you use a much thicker fluid it will not shift properly.

Will do! I plan on picking some up this weekend. But I will especially look for that before buying anything. Thanks so much!

Hey Gord. Did a quick search for this stuff online just so I knew what it should look like. And you were 100% correct. It says right towards the bottom in bold lettering NV 3500.

More than likely you can find an AMSOil dealer in your neck of the woods or order from the retail section of the website. What I understand and what I've been told by those with NV3500 experience you have to use the SYNCROMESH stuff. It's a 5w30 weight, but it's not 5w30 (or there abouts). Unless you pick it up from the dealership, it's unlikely you will find it on the retail shelves in town.

The amsoil stuff is a little over $10 per bottle.

Make sure the stuff you get meets the specs for the NV3500 or you'll have the distinct possibility of trashing your tranny. Like the NV3500 needs any additional help in that category!

I am going to pick up a 17mm hex key this weekend and check the fluid. The tranny has been shifting kinda hard these last few days.
