Default OMG!! Valve body separator plate

Ok so I was putting new solenoids on my valve when I noticed a nice bulge on the separator plate next to the accumualtor piston. There is a check ball in that orofice, but why the bulge and hole? Should I be concerned? Should I replace the plate?

Common. Take that little plate loose and sneak that check ball out. I leave that check ball out on all rebuilds, its not needed.

What about the bulge in the plate? Just forget about it?

Here is a copy of the directions for a TransGo shift kit regarding that orifice (You have the LR hole) and no need to worry about the ball bulge..
