question about mega viper
have any of you ever just bought the #k4 alto master rebuild kit with all that other stuff for 440 some dollars? and if so would you recommend the rebuild kit or a whole transmission? i would be taking it to a shop to have it put in.

There is a DIY article in the faq section, that details one members experience rebuilding his own trans, with that kit.
If you are going to buy the kit, and then pay someone to install it, might wanna look at just buying the whole transmission..... and swapping them out. I don't think there is going to be that much of a price difference.
