Default Chrome, or Black?

I've recently installed a set of Altezza taillights on my truck because I couldn't find a quality match for my busted sport lens.
My gf loves the look but I'm not digging it...until I took pics and started messing with "paint".
I believe the addition of a black bumper makes the lights work. And although I don't often solicit opinions, I only plan on buying one more bumper for this truck, which it needs.
So I'd be appreciative if you'd vote in my poll.
Mods, if this is in the wrong place, I apologise.

I like the chrome look on our trucks myself. What I would do is get some automotive paint in a white color that matches your body, take the lights off, tape up the lenses really good, and just pain the black housing around the lenses.

Will have a photoshop pic for you shortly...

the black bumper does match them better...if your chrome bumper was in good shape I would have just suggested the same tail lights with the chrome accents whick I have...(cheaper at only $53 than a bumper and its a shame to sand and paint a perfectly good chrome one)
I have a black heavy duty road warrior rear bumper and love it. (pics in my garage)

The colors don't match perfect, but it should give you at least a basic idea of what your truck would look like if you did what I and 99DRAM31887 suggested.

Keep it chrome, unless you plan on making front bumper black with those lights, and your lower panels black too.

IMHO, it just looks out of place if the rear bumper is just black

Chrome is the devil. Beat it to fit, paint it to match, and drive it today.
