Yea. What else could have done it. For all of the rocks and tress mine has hit its still there. Its never lost its shape.

Weird thing is when his tank is full it dosen't go back to the way it should.

^same, ive smashed alot with my tank, and it just has a few scuff marks...

and now that you guys mention it, that definatly could be caused by pressure sucking it in

Well here is my theory. The aluminum shield up against it also was bent and pressed against the tank so I know that there was an impact of some kind. Also underneath there, the cross member is covered with hardened asphalt. Here is what I think happened. The truck was a work truck. And I think that something happened to force the truck into a pile of asphalt. Probably high centered it. The warm asphalt pressing in on the plastic gas tank caused the plastic to warp inward and reshape itself.

But the gas tank looked smooth and not bumpy.

he said it was wet cement, so it wasnt hard enough to puncture, but the heat molded it.

asphalt. He said asphalt. Don't get me wrong mud gets pretty hot. Hover dam is still curing to this day because of the millions of yards of mud that was poured.

Dads a first class mason so I know a few things about mud.

The belly of the tank has all kinds of scrapes and scratches in it. Thats why I know that its plastic. While the bands were loose my dad suggested that I take the cap off. So I did and looked, but it didnt pop the dents. I also tried squeezing the tank with my hands to try and help it out a little but still nothing.
