Unless you are running a MSD ignition or a hotter coil...they are a waste of money.

I have used the Accel tune up kit (U grove plugs, 8.2mm wires, cap/rotor) and am nothing but happy.

99 bucks gets you a great tune up set that will last a while. Unless you have a MSD, then you will go through plugs/wires/cap/rotor 3 times as fast.

beamwalker, 360 is right your wasting your money, the Beldon wires will run you about $35.00 and you will have decent wires, for less then $60.00 total I got the Eichlin cap & rotor, Beldon wires & new wire retainers to replace the ones in back of the valve cover that I feel is difficult to work with.

umm...obviously you all have all NOT looked closely...

"When cleaning your engine bay and you are seeking that extra shine, you need KaleCoAuto's new Chrome Hollow Spark Plug Wires! Unique "hollow" design wires allow ignition molecules to flow freely from your distribution point to your motor apex! These Chromed spark plug wires replace those silly metallic spark plug wires and they never need cleaning."

that's why I knew you were joking...plus the wink smiley

I was talking about the OP with the MSD wires being a waste.

You only need bigger wires if you have headers or an MSD. I cooked a wire on a header. luckily I keep a few spares from every tuneup in case that happens.

Yep, you can't go wrong with the MSD 8mm. They are better than OEM stock and come in Red or Black. They have withstood the test of time on my truck!
