Default Street Fire spark plug wires

Has anyone heard of or used Street Fire spark plug wires? On the box it says Street Fire is a MSD Ignition brand. I was wondering if anyone has tried them and if so what's the verdict?

i have MSD Streetfire 8.5mm wires and love them....but they cost 80 bucks.....you'd be better off getting the NAPA wire set, ive heard alot of good things about those. the MSD's are really a hit and miss, just like spark plugs. they work good for some rams, but not with other rams.

Yeah what 95ram360 said. I've heard nothing but good about the Beldin brand from Napa. I believe Accel makes decent wires as well. If you don't want to take a chance, go to the dealer and buy Mopar wires.

All MOPAR wires are are rebranded who-knows-who's wires, just like their filters and most other parts.

MSD makes some of the best wires. Good luck getting the Belden HD wires, the 8.2mm (or 8.5mm, can't recall) ones. None of my NAPAs in the area carry them, and they all give me the same story about how they would have to be special order.

My next set of wires are going to be the Super-Mag Core wires from O'Reillys. Heard lots of good things about them, even though they are only 7mm.

I gots them. Look for them on ebay. I got mine for like 34 bucks. I love them. Did they make a "difference"? I don't know. I can say though after the rebuild i had one that kept wanting to fall and lay on the one header pipe and after doing it a couple times the wire just looks like it rubbed aganist something slightly. No burn marks or melting at all . That alone makes it worth it to me

Do the larger wires require the 'creative' routing as specified in the TSD for missfire?

I just got the Beldon wires from Napa not HD ones, and I like them so far unlike the Mopar ones they come with the wire looms over them, they also seem thicker cause they fit in the original spark plug wire retainers tighter. I also cut the two open and the Beldon's has a much thicker core compared to the Mopar ones.
I also replaced the wire retainers in the back with different ones.
