Then HELL no. It already leaks oil like a waterfall.

Just make sure it is high volume/standard pressure. Oil leaks will not increase then fix the leaks.

An engine with stock clearances don't need a high volume oil pump.

Agreed, go with a standard OEM replacement.

I did, and i had a coupon at advance auto so I got a new one for $16.00! Sweet.

Plus high flow pump needs high flow pan too. Stock is good enough.

Not true. I run a high volume pump in all my rebuilds. Just my preference.
