Need to disconnect battery, pull the radiator fan, and shroud, (and the belt, of course), and even pull the radiator? You can decide that when you get to that point.
Pull the big bolt out of the center of the balancer, and use a three jaw puller to get it off. (there should be openings large enough in the center part of the balancer for the jaws. although, its not like you are going to reinstall this one.... so, doesn't matter if ya screw it up when ya take it off.)
Have a look at the front crank seal while you are in there. If it looks questionable, change it. (might be a good idea to just change it while you are there in any event.)
