its been awhile since ive been on here so i searched but couldnt find what im looking for, some of you might know im putting fog lights in my truck, it didnt come factory with them so i got a headlight light switch with fog lights and wired from the factory fuse panel under the hood to the bumper, now for my question, i got a new bumper today and i want to put factory lights in it, the grey inserts, are they fog light specific? because my new and old inserts didnt have any, i hate to do everything like the factory then go get cheap aftermarket lights

You can use the inserts for a non factory fog light. Just use a dremel or hole saw to make the holes bigger.
BTW,just so you know, the insert has nothing to do with mounting the light. The light bracket mounts to the bumper itself as RH21 stated.

Here is some pictures of how they mount up for reference,
they mount to 2 holes in the bumper and thats it this is how you adjust the angle they face the bolt is similar to a carriage bolt since it has a square part that keeps it from spinning so you only have to tighten one side, it is normally hidden by the upper cover on the bumper

the insert is never touched when dealing with the fogllight mounting and install not sure what other differences other than hole size between the 2

Yeah, it's an old thread but...
Does anyone know the bolt size for these? I am adding fog lights but my bumper just has the square holes, not the necessary bolts. The square hole looks to be about the size of a 3/8 carriage bolt, which I am sure, would be too big for the light mounts. Prob just best to get the factory bolts from the stealer (dealer)?
