Good HIDs, good warranty, good service. I have read more than a few awesome reviews on these guys from people, and thats where I'm going when I come up with a few extra dollars. Make sure and get the 9004 hi/low units, not the regular 9004, so that you have high and low beams.

Word of caution: don't fall for the overpriced units, and don't buy the HIDs off of eBay. Mixed experiences there. Don't get the 55w units for headlights, those are more intended for off-road lights. The 35w lights are bright enough, and if not aligned right, will blind oncoming traffic as it is. The 55w are to bright for normal night driving in town.

All great info above and I would like to add that I installed a set that was not bi (hi and low beams) and wished I did.

I love them and they are very bright. I got the 35w bulbs and they are awesome. No issues to date and I will try to get some pictures for you. I do believe that I am going to put a set in my durago.

Stock HID systems on cars are 4300k typically. 4300k-4500k is the most visible light, and therefore gives you the most reach with your lights. I plan on going 5000k when I do mine, a little whiter than "stock".

I would do no more than 6000k. Anything more than that, and you're going from white to blue, or even worse, purple. You won't see anywhere near as much with those color ratings.

Either 5000k or 6000k are supposed to be the brightest of the heat ranges, i'm going with 6000k when i get mine which is white with a tint of blue

6000k is to blue, it is not bad, but its not the brightest. I hated Viper with a passion (for those that remember him), but he knew his sh*t when it came to this stuff. There is a reason that manufacturers go with a 4300k or so bulb in their factory HIDs. I picked 5000k for a reason.

If you want 6000k, thats fine, thats your choice. Just don't delude yourself into thinking its the brightest.

Well my brother has 8000k bulbs in his chevy and if I had too I could deal with them but the 6000k that are in his girlfriends car are exactly what I want, and was told by a local HID dealer that the 5000k's they sold were the brightest they had, with the 6000k's and a another lower number being close

Hahah, sadly thats all he knew. That and that 2wd beats 4wd all the time....

If anyone has questions on how bright certain lights look, view the chart jason posted. If anyone wants pictures, go to the 4th gen section. They have pics all over the place of their HIDs.
