Did some things...
Well, my headlights I had previously leaked and spread the light horribly, so I upgraded to some new black housing headlights I got off eBay. They look really good, but I have to wait until dark to see how well they spread my lighting. Ill try to get pictures up later.
I also replaced my steering box and pitman arm, which was the biggest PITA I have ever come across. The pitman arm would not come off. At all. I went through two pitman removers, without a budge. And that included hammering on the arm with a 10 lb. hammer. After an entire day of fighting to remove it, took me about 45 min to put the new one on with new hoses lol. Bled the system, and she runs great. Only problem I have now is my steering wheel isn't completely lined up straight. So I'm guessing it got bumped somewhere during the installation. The only thing I can think of to fix it again is to remove the arm, line up the steering wheel again, and put the arm back on.
Other than all that, all I have to do now is replace the fuel pump and brakes and all my repairs will be complete!

Where did you get your steering box from, and how much was it? Mine has a bit of slop left in it, but, I was only able to half **** the adjustment..... need to yank it to do the job right......
Using two hammers makes removing the 'ball joint' type things much easier, just hold one up against one side, and SMACK the other side. Usually, two or three hits, and they pop right off. (yes, I have a LOT of practice doing that kind of thing.

)I got it at O'Reillys. It's a reman that costs $155, but a $70 or so core charge. Mine just kind of...exploded lol. It was constantly leaking fluid, made a loud grinding noise, etc. I just replaced the whole thing and hoses. The only problem with the hammer idea is the lack of room. I did eventually get the steering gear down to the ground with the pitman arm still attached to the gear and the steering knuckle thing. But once I did, I was already in a bad mood and hit the living hell out of it with a hammer and it came out in one hit lol. Now I bought three cans of degreaser so my engine bay and underbody can be clean again.

Wow, that was actually a reasonable price. My has a pitman shaft seal leak.... such fun. I was considering replacing that when I pull it to adjust it, but, a reman unit for 155??? I might just go that route......
Thats what I said. $175 at Autozone, and Advance Auto was about the same. AND they had it in stock lol. $45 I think for the pitman arm. Less than $200 and that includes everything, after the core return of course.
im looking forward to seeing your truck with the black headlights installed. im looking at the same pair for my truck. the pictures ive seen online have looked good, i'd like to see more. post pics when you can
Well, here are some pics of the new eBay headlights. They are pretty good quality, and were shipped very securely. The only thing I wish they didn't have or what I wish I could remove is the little orange circle reflector inside the blinker housing lol. That little thing just...annoys me. I want them to be all black...

Headlights with LED blinkers and 6000K HIDs.

Hope y'all like them.
Not sure if I posted before, but here is my steering stabilizer too. You can also see all the fluid all over everything from my steering gear... Glad I replaced that.

LMAO HELL NO!! Those are effin' blue jeans. They're the lighter colored blue jeans. I would NEVER wear coveralls lol. I only wear them at work cuz it's required at the refineries. You should see my clothes after the steering gear change. Terribly dirty.
