Leveling kits for a 2wd

Default Leveling kits for a 2wd

Im looking for leveling kit for a 2wd 1500. Foud these cheap on craigslist http://southjersey.craigslist.org/pts/1749985656.html would 2.5 be to much in the front?

You could always just get some lowering shackles for the back and level it that way.

Or if you wanna raise it to level it go to www.summitracing.com and look up Daystar spring spacers. You can go with a 1" lift, 1.5" lift, 2" lift, and 2.5" of lift. But the 2.5" requires new longer shocks. Easy to install. I did the 1.5" on mine.

If you want it level dont go with the 2.5 it will leave the back lower

I replaced everything on the front of my truck last July and had it aligned.
Did you have to get an alignment done after you install the 1.5 Kit?

Dont know about the 1.5 but for sure on the 2.5

ill have to measure the correct size i need but are those polyurethane spacers any good?

Yes I had to get an alignment done. Wasn't bad, but I also got my new tires and I didn't want them wearing out so soon. Either way, be it 1.5" or 2.5", your steering geometry is changed and an alignment is needed. Your toe alignment may not be off at all (mine was) but your camber surely will be and should be corrected.
