Default Thank goodness arrives tomorrow

Well long story short my gf backed into my indy and damaged her pretty well. The front bumper was basically to messed up to repair and my drivers fender was crushed in the front. My new fender arrives tomorrow in the mail and was wondering how difficult or someone with insight on how hard this will be and what i need. Only the outer part of the fender is damaged so the inside with all the wiring is fine, is it possible to just leave the inside intact versus taking off the whole thing? Also this gives me a chance to spend the money and buy the phantom bumper

Sorry to here that, I did the same thing once to my gfs car. Those Indys are great trucks, I would love to own one! Good luck with the parts search, and the install.

i think the inner and outer fender is riveted or spot welded together. but ive heard of people drilling them out and bolting them back together.

You got some fun headed your way, and how hard did she hit the truck sounds like quite a bit of damage

Eric that smiley says it all.

Depending on the fender will probly depend on difficulty. If the fender you're gettin has the inner fender and outer skin I would do a whole unbolt and rebolt. IMO that is easier than trying to drill out and re-rivet or weld the skin. I had to do it on my GMC I had and it wasn't too bad. Just a bunch of bolts. I think drivers side is more intimidating but shouldn't be too bad. What side did she get??

Don't let your woman drive!!!! lol
