Default paint and diamond plate (pics)

well, had my trans rebuilt last week, and had them throw on some extras, including an external cooler, which was silver and looked funny to me, so i decided to paint it (2000 degree enamel)

some diamond plate to cover my radiator and pull my fan shroud up, it was sagging really bad, i noticed there were some slits in the top edge of the radiator, just enough to get a little 1/2" pan head in withought doing any damage

The engine looks good, i'll give you that. But as far as the tranny cooler goes, isn't that a bit small? I mean every little bit helps don't get me wrong, but from the pictures it looks like you don't have the towing cooler between the radiator and condenser. (I didn't either until I pulled this one from another truck).

I probably would have opted to get something at least this size, if not bigger if I were you. Also the paint decreases your cooling efficiency as well. Either way, so long as your happy that is all that matters. Just wanted to point that out in case you run onto a deal for a bigger cooler down the road. Wish you luck!

lol purpl, you cant see when the hoods down so i dont care

my truck runs just under 180 even when we had a hot streak, i dont think the paint decreases it, ive painted the rad when i bought it.

and that external cooler is in line with my regular cooler, so i have 2, and i dont ever tow, so i dont think ill have any problems. i just wanted to keep it a little cooler than the stock cooler to extend trans life.
