The instructions say nothing about needing longer driveshafts. And that is actually a good price for a 5 inch lift.... (on sale, 795.00)

One thing I DID notice though, was this disclaimer in the installation instructions:

Mixing component brands, lifts, and/or combining body lift with suspension lifts voids all warranties.

Interesting. Wonder if all lift companies feel the same way?

That was more of a curiosity thing than anything else. You didn't mention a body lift at all. ( I don't care for body lifts. but, that's another debate. )

If we are looking at the same kit, they list install time as around 6 hours..... Of course, that is probably for someone that had done it 50 times, has more tools than sears, and a hoist.

That kit is a complete kit and should include everything. I believe they have coils, contro arms, drop sway bar bracket, pitman arm, drop track bar bracket, shocks, and rear add-a-leafs or blocks. You don't need anything else...no longer driveshafts are needed so you should be good to go!

At least 300 bucks. (six hours, times a lowball guesstimate of 50.00 bucks an hour for labor)

Does the base have an auto hobby shop? You don't really need any esoteric tools to install the lift.
