Thanks yall i been wanting it lifted since i got it. The reason i had to take the spings off is because when i put the aal in and lossened the c clamps it stripped the tie bolt so i took the springs off and took them to a local spring shop and he put them together for me. i just dropped the truck off at the alignment shop and i know theres been alot of people saying that 35's and 3.55's is a dog but i honestly cant tell that much of a difference. it will still bark the tires on pavement and pulls about like it did. Now the braking is a little tougher though. i actually think my stock rims with the 265 75 16 load range E tires weigh about the same as these load range C 35's. There is maybe a 5-8 pound difference "maybe".

Damn truck looks good time to hit the dirt roads and mudholes, and I know what a pain in the *** it is to get the springs off but I was able to manage with the bed on to change shackles

Nice. I stand by what I said the other day, a 5" lift and 35" tires is the perfect combo on a 2nd gen.

We heated the bolt and the frame where the shackle sits till it was red hot and couldn't beat the bolt out with an 8lb sledge. That was with the bed off and golf club swings lol. Finally had to cut them. I love the color combo of maroon and silver.

I didn't know 37"s would fit with just a 5" lift.
I was saying that 35"s and a 5" lift is perfect because it looks really good and it gives you a lot more capability on the trails but at the same time it isn't getting too big for your steering knuckles/hubs/gears and still keeps you low enough to keep from getting too top heavy.
