a/c rebuildish retrofit kinda project
yeah foil is stock, just insulation. from what ive beeb learning, and what a shop guy told me is that whenever you work on ac you want to replace dryer and that line you took a pic of. you can go to mopar online...http://www.moparonlineparts.com/part...layCatalogid=0
not sure what your year is but just enter that and replace the dryer and thats the liquid line. on that site, costs about 43$. what mainly leaks is the condensor, evap core, and possibly the compressor. speaking from personal experiences, my evap core is shot and my compressor is leaking. if it is a hose your lucky, but doubtful thats the main issue. either way replace the lines and discharge hoses. debris tends ot build up in these lines..

yeah its not the compressor because we gotta a brand-usedish one that my dads friend looked over and made sure, so im thinking from what your saying that maybe that line i had a pic of any prolly the drier just to be safe... i think ill try replacing that tubing section for ****s and giggles since its cheap to do and would be cool (literally) if that was the only problem haha, ive got better things to do to with my money to this truck than waste it on something that "may" work... thanks for all the input guys
yeah i hear ya man, thats why i put off putting in a new evap, etc until i do the plenum and motor work...rather invest in parts that will help truck run better than having ac fixed..who knows maybe my charge will last the summer season
