Default Anybody using 0w20 weight synthetic oil?

Who's using 0w20 weight synthetic oil in a 5.9 gas engine? It's time to change the oil before we go 1200 miles from Fla to Pa and then back again. I've got 89,000 mostly low rpm miles on it. I'd like to use 0 weight if it won't cause any problems. I drive about 50/50 city highway, 10 mile to work and 10 miles back. It gets warmed up about 2 or 3 miles into the trip. I NEVER tow, don't even have a hitch. No off-roading, either. I only drive about 5 to 6 thousand miles in most years. I( guess that's going out the window this year. Gotta love a good road trip. (Now if I could just get a volume control for the kids...........)
So what do you think?
Edit: Who thinks I'll see an increase in MPG?

The recommendation is 10W40. I wouldn't go any thinner.

http://theserviceadvisor.com/Viscosity.shtml

Once the engine is running, the oil heats up. The second number in the viscosity rating--the "40" in 10W-40, for example--tells you that the oil will stay thicker at high temperatures than one with a lower second number--the "30" in 10W-30, for example. What's really important is that you use the oil viscosity your car's owner's manual recommends.

it's not winter so there's no point to running a lighter oil than what's recommended.

OK, how about 5w30? That's the weight I actually bought. I could return it for 10w30, which is what I was going to do to get the 0 weight.

Go with the 10w30. Its summer. The lighter weight when cold thing isn't gonna help you much, and the lubricating properties of lighter weight oil won't do you any favors in the realm of engine wear...... Keep in mind, it dosn't get is full "30 weight" properties until around 210 degrees. (oil temp)

Ok, you've all convinced me. 10w30 it is. I'll trade it today. Thanks for the quick advice.
There's a reason this forum is so popular.
