cold runnning problems

Default cold runnning problems

my truck will run with a surg and miss for the first few minutes when its cold and then it will go complety away. i have cleaned the IAC, done the plenum, new plug, and wires, and cap and rotor. and nothing has done anything to fix the problem. what could be causing this?

Check engine light on? Any codes? What did the old plugs look like when you pulled them? Have you checked fuel pressure? How many miles on the truck?

its got 62,500 miles, plugs looked brand new but they were the stock ones, changed then with e3s,fuel pressure is around 50 psi, no codes. it has a cutted cat with that cause it to run bad when cold?

hey, if you get your problem figured out, please let me know what it was...sounds like our trucks are doing about the same thing. I just started a thread on my problem today
