Here's a thought -- check your local laws.

you can go to any autoparts store and buy a can of nite shade. its in a purple spray can. you cant miss it. its only like $10 and you can do like 7-8 cars. and you can go as light or dark as you want.

You can use VHT Nite Shades on them and it will look bad ***. You can pick it up at a local parts store for about 10 bucks. I doubt it'll limit your visability as much as covers.

Alright, I'll say it, whats the appeal about these? Why would you pay to lose function?

I respect your guys style, but to each their own.

I have the headlight and taillight covers on my dodge. I personally like them a lot but they do hinder light output a lot. Taillights arent that bad, you can still see them from quite a distance away. Headlight covers are easy to remove and arent a big deal to me to take off at night. Plus these cover up that unsightly fading of the factory headlights.

I would not do niteshades on any white light, headlights included, I did one of my foglights and was using it as a test dummy for making a decision on what do with my foglights.

Well the first time I did it I just sprayed it to the color I wanted and was happy with how it sprayed and looked sweet until I used it at night there was no light output it showed the light through the niteshades just didnt have any distance I had to redo it several times until settling on a very lightly misted foglight that shows a little bit less than without any.

I ended up buying some already smoked Halo headlights aand fogs and Im waiting on arrival

Ps. Niteshades does alright on tailights and the third brake light because the red seems to go through easier and just needs to light up instead of project the light
