it is really good. you can get 1lb of boost from it going 70 on the hwy. (Verified by someone on the forum with a boost gauge)

and cheaper than what spectre wants:
199.99 PN728
http://www.spectreperformance.com/#CATALOG.728

I would get this one though:
http://www.spectreperformance.com/#CATALOG.753
but it is $277

They are good kits. That JEGs special has me hooked. i think i will be getting that one.

The reason i say get the other one, is because it is hard to get a TIGHT seal on the TB cover with a 14 inch cleaner. YOu need a tight seal to really get the RAM AIR effect.

With the single inlet, it gives you some moreroom to work with. 14x3s are VERY tight in our engine bays. my air cleaner is only 2 3/4 inches high an it is as tight as can be.

I would get the one from Jegs. Don;t get the ram-air-box one.

Spectre is a better brand. And the ram air box does not look low profile. You need a low profile one.

Ramairbox or the Spectre will be much quieter than an open 14" is.
Ramairbox is probably the exact same height as the Spectre box, both take 3" tall filter
Looks like the Spectre box is smaller OD & has less volume than the ramairbox.
No issue with throttle cable & the ramairbox, never had a Spectre so I cant comment on that.

The only way you need a spacer is if the air box is drop base. EDIT: that one is a DROP BASE. So you would need a spacer (which is just a bigger gasket for the TB to Airbox, NOT a throttle body spacer)

It will be tight, but it will fit. i had problems because i had 2 MSD wire looms running across the top. Needed to get them up there snug.

I want to get this one:

http://www.spectreperformance.com/#CATALOG.7438

But it is $277!!!

The ram air box just looked bulky and awkward to me. But if you have one and can comment on it, then heck, it must be good!!!
