Default rear airbags for additional lift

hey. i have a set of airbags in the back of the dodge. the overload ones. just wondering if these can be pumped up for some additional lift. can it be done? good? bad? maybe?

right now, i just want another inch or so of lift; i will most likely get a block and modify my ba$tard pack leaf lift, but just curious.

cheers

i got about 6" of lift out of mine so yeah you can, but it'll be a stiff ride. mines deflated to about 26lbs of air pressure, incase you all think i'm driving around with 100lbs of air in my bags. looks ridiculous like that. actually i take that back if your just looking for an inch you shouldn't have a stiff ride i was thinking of when i had mine pumped up to the max.

ya. figured. i put about 20 lbs in and it gave me 2"!!!! think its because the addaleaf is in there i think it makes it easier to lift it with less air.

i'm going to be putting a 1" block in it so i don't have to use th em; but untill the parts come in, its nice to level out the truck....
