Default Gas Mileage

Just curious here, what kind of gas mileage is everyone getting? And how big of an engine do you have?

5.9. 9-10 in town, 11-13 highway. Bleh.

5.9L 4x4 14 city, and 17-18 highway.........do your plenum...that will give you better mpgs....before i did plenum, i got 8-9mpgs, after i replaced (along with other engine parts) i got the 14mpgs

I did it < a year ago, made no difference. No oil in the intake as of last Saturday. Oh well, it's summer so I can roll on two wheels most days.

i didnt just replace the plenum....i had the hughes kit...manifold cleaned at a machine shop, and it looked brand new inside and out, did the kegger mod, coil, plugs, wires, dist. cap, and rotor all at the same time...

There's already a gas mileage thread in this forum, and with that I'll tell you that I'm getting 25mpg.

After joining the forum I now run nothing but SeaFoam so my gas mileage is infinite.

Yep, fill the tank once with seafoam and you're good for the life of the vehicle
