rotor and cap
I was gonna buy a rotor and cap with wires but during the process of ordering it i decided to make sure it was worth getting it. So my real question is do i need to buy anything else with it to get the real potential out of it?
yea do the plenum at the same time if you havent....with the manifold out it makes things SOOOOO much easier to do.
and whenever i do plugs or anything, i replace all the componants, which would be coil, wires, plugs, cap, and rotor.

I have always found favor in autolites but recently am I liking the bosch +2s. They are running really well in my other 318 magnum in the dakota. But as you search through the forum you will see that there are many opinions about plugs and their pros and cons.
I personally wont use plug wires or cap and rotor that are not Mopar Performance. Tried the other brands and was quickly disappointed in the "quality".

Mopar doesn't make any of their own stuff anymore, its all rebranded stuff, with rare exceptions. The Mopar performance coils that they used to make... rebranded MSD. Their filters? Rebranded FRAM (terrible!), Wix (excellent!), or some other flavor of the month. Etc. etc. etc.
Bosch plugs run to hot for our engines, they are designed for imports. Very rarely do they work the best for our trucks.
The best so far that most can agree on... Autolite 3923s (colder plug), NGK V-power, or the stock type Champions. There are varying opinions on these, as others have said, but those are the most commonly agreed upon. I believe there is a poll/thread on spark plugs in the FAQ section.
The 3923s helped my pinging go down when I had a blown plenum gasket. Now that I try them with my SCT tuner (and fixed plenum)... no difference. Will be switching back to V-powers next change.

Must be thinking about a different plug. Book calls for autolite 5224s .40 gap. And I pulled out 5224 Double Platinums on my '98 318. Put in the base autolites in there now cause I couldnt afford anything else. Autolite makes good stuff though.
I dunno about mopar rebranding their caps and rotors. Or their wires. Either way though, I have used the "better" stuff and wound up putting in the mopar rebranded stuff anyway.

Accel truck tune up kit is great. 99 dollars at summit (Cap, rotor, plugs, wires) The cap is brass terminal as well!!
When you get the plenum, remember to get the 44 dollar hardware kit with the gaskets and a tube of ultra black RTV. You will need new intake bolts.
