grill chrome bubbling/peeling
Yep the honeycomb is chrome too! The grill itself is actually one piece, I can't remove the honeycomb even if I wanted to...will be posting a DIY on this soon, I found a short cut on this... Also my fourth 2nd gen grill install (not all on this truck). I'm getting good at it

I know that I started this thread about the grill, but I also have another thread about engine/transmission problems. Since a couple of you have similar Rams maybe you have run into these problems. If you have time and any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated!

6 studs on the grill that go trough the face of the hood.
6 screws go through the steel braces into the under side of the hood and I think 2 screws for the latch lever.
all are 8mm.
Takes about 10 minutes to remove
I think laramies color match DIY has pics of the locations.
Mine is doing the same no peeling yet I'm looking into my powder coating guy possibly powder coating it in a custom finish maybe an anodized look or carbon fiber? He has tons of custom color options including chrome . I am planning on a two tone in the spring after cleaning up all the dings and dents so maybe something different.
I'm guessing its that Chinesium chrome they use that causes this
