my ol' girl tipped the local grain bin scale at around 5,700-6,000 lbs about a year ago. I can't remember exactly. It was with me in it and I think it had about a half empty tank. I'm pretty sure she's gained some weight since then.

my 1500 regular cab and short bed weights about 5400 when leaving the dump with me and the tool box. minus about 170 for me, 60 for tool box, and 200 for contents is about 430, so the truck plus gas is about 5000.

On the scales at the truck pull minus my weight and the extra weight I put in my tool box, my truck comes in around 5700.

For some reason, the number 4800 is sticking in my head from the last time I went to the scrap yard (Reg. cab, short box, basically empty aside from me). Don't quote me though.... it sounds quite a bit less than what everybody else is coming up with.
